So whether you’re dealing with asthma, eczema, food allergies, or drug reactions, we help both children and adults to finally understand what’s happening—and how to gain control.
Meet the Team Behind Your Care
Dr. Kent Woo – A Team Member
Dr. Kent Woo is a consultant Allergist-Immunologist who sets clinic standards, reviews complex cases, and trains our team.
But here’s the key: Dr. Kent doesn’t work alone.
He has a team of dedicated doctors so patients can get timely, effective care without seeing him.
Our Allergy & Immunology Physicians
Our physicians are fully qualified doctors with focused training in allergy and immunology.
They bring their own strengths and expertise to patient management.
This means your care is always:
- Efficient (no long waits just for one doctor).
- Thorough (every angle is covered).
- Reassuring (backed by Dr. Kent’s oversight).
How Our Clinic Works
When you visit, here’s what to expect:
- Nurses will welcome you, take your history, and understand your current symptoms.
- Our Allergy & Immunology Physicians will examine you, review your reports, and arrange any necessary tests (such as skin prick or allergy blood tests).
- Dr. Kent Woo may review your case (especially for complex or long-term conditions)
This team-based model ensures you feel supported at every step of the way.
A whole clinic is looking after you—not just one doctor.
Allergy Testing: What You Need to Know
We offer two main types of allergy tests in Malaysia:
Skin Prick Test
- Quick, reliable, and same-day results.
- Ideal for children, asthma, rhinitis, food allergies.
- [Learn more about skin prick testing here]
Allergy Blood Test
- Best when skin testing isn’t suitable (eczema, very young children, or if you’re on antihistamines).
- Often combined with other blood work.
- [Learn more about allergy blood tests here]
Both tests identify your allergy triggers, helping us tailor a treatment plan just for you.
📌 Important Appointment Notice
✅ Appointments are booked by the hour (e.g., 9:00 AM).
✅ Please arrive on time – whoever comes first at that hour will be seen first.
✅ Walk-ins welcome – but patients with appointments will be seen first.
❌ Late arrivals (e.g., 9:30 AM for a 9:00 AM slot) are considered missed, and will be seen after on-time patients.
This system keeps things fair, smooth, and efficient for everyone.
⚠️What to Bring for Your Appointment
To help us give you the best care, please bring:
✅ All your current medications – inhalers, creams, tablets, supplements, even skin care products.
✅ Printed reports – blood tests, allergy results, discharge summaries. (Printed copies are much easier to review than small phone screens.)
✅ Any previous medical summaries – you can also email them ahead of time.
[Read: Why We Ask Patients To Bring Their Medications With Them For All Their Visits]
👉 Important: Do not stop any medications before your visit unless we specifically advise it. Every patient is unique, and stopping certain drugs without guidance could be unsafe. We’ll review everything first and let you know if adjustments are needed.
Payment & Insurance Information
We accept all forms of payment: QR systems, cash, credit card, and bank transfers.
For insurance:
- Personal medical insurance usually only covers inpatient stays, not outpatient allergy tests or clinic visits. If you need hospital admission, please go to the emergency room first. The on-call physician can admit you, and then request Dr. Kent Woo for consultation.
- Corporate medical benefits (GL coverage) are accepted through the Gleneagles Corporate Medical Benefits Counter located at the ground floor of the MOB Specialist Building.
