A Real‑Life Scam – And a Health Industry Parallel
This is a true scam story that happened to me.
After a long day of seeing patients, my staff mentioned that there was a well dressed man waiting to see me. He “claimed” to know me as a close friend from school.
Puzzled and curious, I met with him. And he begins, doctor I have something you need…
He promised I could buy gold at below‑market prices, store it with them, and earn monthly returns.
Too good to be true? Absolutely! I showed him the door.
The Genneva gold operation is so slick!
They have brochures. They have a nice building.
They bring a briefcase with documents and testimonials. They proudly show names of prominent people in their portfolio.
Flash forward: the wellness treatment scams look eerily similar
You get brought into a nice 5 star facility and you watch a polished well scripted video. Then a beautiful or handsome sales associate will come spend time with you and wow you with attention.
They swear that their therapy will change your life.
Why I Don’t Compete with Hype – And That’s a Good Thing
As your doctor, I am here to give you the best care in health wellness therapy.
Not dazzle you with smoke and lights and use smooth sales persuasion tactics.
How am I different?
There is no polished well scripted video and there is no handsome doctor to wow you with attention.
No “testimonials” plastered on walls (medical ethics prohibit that)
The clinic is comfortable but it is not decked out like the Palace of Versailles.
What you will get:
Unvarnished medical advice from one of the country’s top specialists.
Evidence‑based treatments tailored to your needs.
Care delivered in a legitimate healthcare setting within a leading hospital.
Case in Point: When NK Cell Therapy Isn’t the Answer
A person came in to see me the other day asking about NK cell therapy.
Unfortunately the person is having severe acute leukemia that is not responding despite multiple rounds of chemotherapy.
I explained that NK cell therapy is not indicated at this time.
He mentioned that an agency had already told him “yes” – without reviewing the medical records.
I reviewed the science and explained why NK cells weren’t indicated yet, then outlined a treatment plan with real promise.
He was shocked – he expected the “yes” everyone else gave him.
This scenario happens quite often. What does a salesman do? They sell, the objective is to sell you something to buy.
Whether you need it or not.
And that is why you should always consult with a doctor that has your best interest at heart.
Immune Reaction from the Wrong Stem Cell Therapy
I’ll never forget the day a panicked woman burst into my clinic, covered all over in an angry red rash.
“Doctor, you have to help me! I’ve tried everything—antihistamines, creams, nothing works!”
As we talked, the truth came out: she went to a glossy “beauty enhancement center” offering stem cell treatments.
But these weren’t real stem cells.
They were shipped all the way from Europe… and sourced from sheep.
Immediately, I knew what was happening.
Sheep cells aren’t human cells. Our bodies recognize them as foreign invaders.
Shipping live cells across continents? They’d be dead on arrival – or worse, contaminated.
In other words, her immune system was in full battle mode against these misplaced cells.
We calmed her raging inflammation with the right medications. Her rash faded, but more importantly, she got answers.
Once she recovered, we sat down and mapped out real ways to support her health and beauty.
Methods grounded in science, not sheep mail‑order kits.
How to Spot Wellness Treatment Scams
Promises of “guaranteed” results—science never works that way.
High‑pressure sales tactics—real doctors don’t need to coerce.
Exclusive “packages” with hidden fees—authentic care is transparent about costs.
Testimonials instead of data—ask for published evidence, not just personal stories.

Don’t Let “Wellness Treatment Scams” Derail Your Health
In today’s world, it’s easy to be enticed by glossy presentations and lofty promises. But when it comes to your health, it’s crucial to tread carefully.
Always consult a qualified physician before embarking on any health-optimizing therapies. Your well-being is too precious to risk on unverified treatments and persuasive sales tactics.
