Speaking at a conference is akin to a performance. I think that the world is changing, our attention spans are getting shorter. In the past, 1 hour talks are the norm, now we watch social media videos with the average duration of 1 minute in duration. Medical conferences are supposed to be educational, while social media is to entertain. I am going to see if I can merge the two. What I wanted to say in my photo message is that nasal polyps can be triggered by localized mucosal allergy to dust mites. So if you have sinusitis with nasal polyps, we are now understanding that allergy does play a role.
