Happy Mothers’ Day

I think Mother’s Day is the most significant celebration out of all celebrations. In fact, it is probably the mother of all celebrations.  Perhaps it was a commercial decision to promote Mother’s Day to encourage dining and spending to boost the economy. Despite this, I will still knowingly and willingly participate. Let me tell you why…

During this Mother’s Day celebration, I planned a nice steak dinner for everyone. The Beef Wellington (not pictured) came first. My son was so hungry, he reached out for a piece in which I promptly stopped him. I said, today is Mother’s Day, not children’s day, so this special dish goes to the mothers. I distributed each mother a piece of the Beef Wellington. Then each mother (Grandmothers, Mother and Godmother) cut a portion and gave it to all the kids. The mothers gave majority of their portions to all the kids, even I received a portion! This is testimonial to a mother’s care.

I think anyone can be a mother, you can be a mother to your pet, you can be a mother to someone that you care. So cheers to all Mother’s out there! Thank you for all you do!
